I know it says not to mix but I can't find my original videocard. Its a Gigabyte GeForce 7600 GS, GV-NX76G256D-RH. Is it possible to get another video card that is close to this model and link the two without running into problems?
Can you use SLI on two different video cards?
as long as its 7600 it will work ... it has to be sli ready of course with the gold fingers at the top for the bridge .. clock and memory as well as bios are not required to be the same ... if its a 7600 and it is sli ready ur good to go ..
Reply:just be sure that their clocking frequencies are the same and that they support the sli mode. it may not be necessary for the same ram capacities.
Reply:no, and sli isnt a huge performance jump as your hoping it to be
