also I don't think I have enough space in my mother board for 2 video cards unless I get rid of my sound card. what can I do?
Do you need to have the exact same model of video cards for SLI mode?
yes you need to have exactly the same model of video cards for sli and you also have to have an sli capable motherboard, which means two pci-e slots, to do it. you can't just take down other cards and plug in your video card in their slot.
