when i pop in the dell resource disc that came with my pc its telling me that it detectes two different video cards, a geforce 6800 and the 7800 when i only have the 6800. Any reason why it would be saying this, also i have a sli mother board if that helps?

look up a program called "Belarc Advisor", you can probably find it as freeware. Install and run it. It will go through your whole computer and give you a report of all the programs running and all the processes and hardware installed. See if it picks up both.
