I'm looking at getting a laptop, but it seems like video card manufacturors are so busy hyping their old DX9 video cards that they cover up which cards will actually work with DX10. Does anyone know of a few specific models of DX10 compatible video cards that can be purchased with a laptop?
What specific video cards for laptops are Direct X 10 compatible?
The 8600m is available in asus G1s and G2s and c90 and the ati 2600 is available in the asus a8jr
Reply:There isn't one. As I recall the only video card that's DX10 is the 8800GTS/GTX but they won't fit on a laptop since they can't even fit on a lot of towers. ATI was developing one also but I don't know if it's been released. Most likely that won't fit a laptop either.
