Can you get video cards that slot into a PCI express slot on the side of a laptop?

I have a dell inspiron that has a slot on the side which can take pci express cards.

Can you get video cards that slot into a PCI express slot on the side of a laptop?
It takes a different style of PCI card, called an ExpressCard. It's more similar to the old PCMCIA cards than something you'd find in a desktop. One does exist, but it will only display to an external monitor and offers horrible performance compared to even the lowest of notebook video parts.
Reply:Yes you can get them but they are pretty expensive and are hard to find. Games aren't for laptops. Even if you bought an Alienware type computer, that would be obsolete in 4-6 months and you would have no way to upgrade it without spending lots of money.
Reply:You would of needed to purchase a laptop with the slot built in otherwise it would not be possible. It isnt possible yet to upgrade a graphics card.
Reply:I don't think so. Did you mean that you have a PCMIA slot on the side of your laptop?
Reply:With it being a dell mate you might need one from them as not all cards are compatible for the dell systems.
