I have a Radeon 9800 SE card (in my AGP slot) and a Radeon 9250 (in one of the PCI slots).
My friend says I shouldn't have both of these in the same time, but i really don't think it doesnt cause that much trouble.
Whos right?
Should i have two video cards in my comp at the same time?
It's not going to hurt your computer, but it's not really helping anything either. Typically if you have two video cards your looking for increase in performance or multi monitor setups. Since you're not looking for multi monitors having two boards will not benefit you greatly. Putting an AGP board in a computer next to a PCI board is only going to really be useful if your main video card dies on you; because you will have a backup.
If you're looking to do some serious gaming and want two boards you'll need to look into some newer hardware that can take advantage of having two vid cards.

is a good place to start doing some research on multi video card systems.
Reply:2 at one time causes NO problems, infact that is a way for people to setup multiple monitors. I once setup 3 dual head video cards for one of my customers so he could have 6 monitors at one time (he was a workaholic that needed multiple pages up at one time)
Reply:It shouldn't cause trouble as long as you have sufficient power from your PSU (Power Supply Unit). In case you're going for games, it's better to have one high-end graphics card than two low-end ones, set up as Crossfire or SLI.
