Can i run two video cards but by using two different types?

I want to use keep my nvidia GeForce 7300GT and buy a nvidia Geforce 7900GS and put them both on my computer, is that possible? Or do i have to take out my 7300GT?

Only the newest boards that support the pci x16 Express x2 for crossfire your out of luck.
Reply:That won't work.
Reply:You cannot use two video card at a time. No matters if you have taken out one of it. When you will connect one video card, all other cards attatched to your computer will be disabled. You can anable of disable any card but you can use one at a time.
Reply:You're going to have to buy a board with both AGP and PCI-E capabilities on it. Then you're going to need a video card for each format. You can even try using normal PCI and one of the aforementioned slots.
