I want a card that will last me for some time, and can play games like COD4 without having to use the low settings.

I have an AGP motherboard and don't have the money to buy both a new motherboard and a new video card.
Which of these 2 video cards should I buy?
Wow, I don't think you can afford NOT to upgrade your mobo. You can pick up a decent mobo (from newegg) for $70. You can get an 8500 series (which should perform better than the cards you linked) also for about $70. That's less cost than the AGP cards you're listing and should probably give you better performance. AGP is definitely outdated and you should give serious consideration to upgrading your mobo.
Edit: If you have to stick with AGP though, I would go with the 7900. The 7900 is basically an overclocked 7800 and should yield better performance.
Reply:Well the XFX is a higher end model of the 7-series. So naturally that one would perform better and would be a better buy.

The XFX, xfx is a awesome company that offers THE BEST warranties like double lifetime and such. Plus the XFX has better specs.
I have a geforce 7600 GT that I used for 2 days from XFX, the 2 days I had it, it rocked. But the system died and the motherboard was burnt so I no longer use it (not the fault of the video card, It was a power short). Probably gonna ebay it off for cheap but man it was fast as hell for a agp.
